Mission Labs
Mission Labs represents the experimental and development-focused line of effort within Mission Concepts Australia. It exists to explore emerging technologies, bridge operational gaps, and deliver field-ready solutions grounded in Defence relevance.
We prototype, test, and iterate on novel applications across the tactical edge—using a systems-thinking approach to enhance survivability, situational awareness, and interoperability. Whether we’re working on open-source platforms, edge devices, or custom capability integration, Mission Labs connects technical ingenuity with real-world mission needs.

Uncrewed Systems
We design, configure, and support tactical UAS platforms tailored for Defence, training, and specialist operations. Our work spans concept validation, payload integration, and custom configurations for ISR, logistics, or experimental roles.
Digital Toolsets
We support the deployment and optimisation of digital mission tools to support the end user. We ensure teams have the tools they need for situational awareness, mission planning, and coordination.

Computing and Sensors
Our labs explore practical applications of edge computing and software-defined radio (SDR) in field environments. Using platforms like Raspberry Pi, we develop compact, flexible solutions suited to low-profile and contested missions.
